- Add 1 pump Fruit Flavoured Topping (30ml)
- Blend for 30 seconds in a high-speed blender.
Cost per serve (330ml – 11 oz): ~AU$0.13 at store level in Australia. (Excluding Ice [~AU$0.13 @$3.00/4kg] and Topping [~AU$0.08 @ $8.00/3 lit])
Yield/Carton of 10kg: 222 serves of 330 ml (11 oz.)
Note:
- The texture of the slush will not be exactly the same as slush from a slush machine – yet it will be just as refreshing and
delicious. The smoothness of the slush depends on the speed of the blender. For a smooth (not chunky) slushr, it is neccesary to use a blender fitted with ice blades capable of RPM 35,000 or more.
- A small amount of ice is liquified in the blending process and a small amount of liquid may be seen on the bottom of the cup,
which is normal.
- The firmness of the slush depends on the ice:water ratio, which should be close to 1:1 by weight. If water at room temperature is
used (vs cold water), it may be neccesary to increase the ice portion, otherwise too much ice will melt during blending resulting in a large liquid portion in the bottom of the cup, which is undesirable.
Shelf Life of Powder Base
