How do you flavour Thickshake mix? Some machines have built-in shake
mixers, which dispense the frozen-down vanilla thickshake mix into a mixing
chamber, adds the topping (milk shake flavouring), mixes it and then dispenses
it into a cup. Non-automatic machines usually have only one flavour. You
dispense the thickshake into a cup, add a pump or two of topping and then blend
for about 5 seconds. Over-beating the Thickshake will break up the soft ice
crystals, turning it into a milkshake consistency.

|
|
Please note: Countries like Australia make a distinction between a milk shake
and a thickshake. Milkshakes in these countries are icy cold, but have the
consistency of creamy milk. Thickshakes are thick and one is just able to suck
it through a thick straw. Countries like the US make no distinction between the
two. All shakes usually have a consistency similar to the consistency of
Thickshakes as explained above.
