Advantages of using Soft Serve instead of Scoop Ice Cream for making Shakes
1. Time - Because scoop ice cream is hard, it poses two difficulties. Firstly, it takes much longer to scoop from the tray and secondly, it takes much longer to blend it into a smooth texture. You decrease labour time and customer waiting time using soft serve.
2. Cost - Scoop ice cream is much dearer than soft serve, so you save money!
3. Texture - Soft serve gives a much smoother shake texture which makes it easier to suck through a straw.
4. Customer Satisfaction - Because you can serve about three people with shakes made with soft serve in the same time as one when you use scoop ice cream, customers don't have to wait that long and you're not losing sales to other retailers when customers walk off because you're to slow or too busy.
